POSTNATAL SUPPORT

Breastfeeding support now your baby is here

Perhaps you find yourself here as breastfeeding is painful or your baby has been slow to gain weight. Perhaps you have a premature baby and need that extra bit of support to get breastfeeding established. Perhaps you have questions about starting solids, returning to work or stopping breastfeeding. Or perhaps you simply want someone to check over what you are doing.

​A postnatal consultation is an ideal opportunity to get support with 'normal' challenges related to establishing feeding or with more 'complicated' challenges such as slow weight gain, low milk supply, exclusive pumping, ongoing pain, breast refusal or breastfeeding a baby who was born prematurely or with additional needs. Whatever your circumstances, I am trained to listen to you, share evidence-based information with you and to work with you to create a plan to overcome the challenges you are facing.​

Postnatal Consultation (Video Call) £55 for up to 90 minutes

Postnatal Consultation (Home Visit) £80* for up to 90 minutes

* For locations further than 15 miles from Dawlish, there is an additional cost of 90p per mile (45p there and back)​

Both options include two weeks ongoing email support.​

If you feel like you need a second consultation then these are offered at a discounted rate of £70 (Home visit) or £45 (Video Call).

Postnatal Telephone Support £25 for up to 45 minutes

This is an ideal option if you wish to chat through starting solids, returning to work or stopping breastfeeding. This option does not allow me to observe a breastfeed and so is not suitable for all circumstances.

Breastfeeding Journey Debrief £40 (video call) or £60 (home visit inc. travel up to 15 miles) for up to 60 minutes

An opportunity to discuss your breastfeeding journey and explore your feelings around it. This can be useful before or during a subsequent pregnancy following a breastfeeding journey that didn't go as you planned.
